If there is no Support class, then it is advised that all players lay a barrage of bullets (and other melee weapons) down upon the Scrake to minialise the damage he can do.

This weapon is a Scrakes worst nightmare, as it propells shrapnel through the ZEDs it can bring a Scrake down without it harming any players. Having a Support class in your team to tackle this monster of a ZED is incredibly useful, as by the time they come along it is usually possible to have obtained the AA-12 Auto Shotgun. With several melee attacks that can cause a lot of damage to players, the Scrake is a force to be reckoned with.
